  Love. This. Place. I try to get over here twice a year and I am never disappointed. The place is small but you can tell that over time it has become one of the neighborhood go to places.
  
  The service was amazing. Lily, our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. She made sure we knew the specials and what was good. I love Puerto Rican food and this place has a great combo of Mexican , Cuban and Puerto Rican food. Lily recommended the steak and rice and the empanadas and she did not lie to us! They were bomb. Empanadas could use a little more spice but still good.
  
  The cafe con leche is freshly made and good to the last drop.
  
  If you want some good breakfast options and lunch check out cafe 23. Ask for lily. She is the bomb.

  I was looking forward to this meal.... but food tasted weird rice was sticky with something I had the steak bowl. Will not order from here again! I gave them 2 stars for service because it was super fast! food was terrible with a little bonus look at picture
  Sorry I dont give bad reviews but this is terrible

  We went here for a staff meeting lunch on the recommendation of a co-worker.  The place itself is small, but cozy. The service was great. The ladies were very personable and likable.  
  
  Although we were there for lunch, I decided to go for a breakfast dish.  I love skillets and they took it up a notch.  They have a carnitas skillet.  I love pork and these folks added it to a skillet...win win and they did it very well. I got the cuban rice as a side.
  
  That skillet was amazing and I will be going back to get it again.  My co-workers had dishes that looked great.  The milk shakes looked awesome, thick and creamy.  I have heard great things about the cuban, but will have to try that another time.

  Decent delivery time. Driver got confused because google maps lies about my location haha so not her fault. The cubano is pretty big and DELICIOUS. The rice while a large will fill you up... i thought was a bit bland. But nowhere near the worst i have tried so it was decent.

  So we came to cafe 23 and enjoyed every moment of it the environment was great all of the  staff are very friendly and attentive our waitress jasmine  was great and  has awesome personality the food was fast and freshly made an hot also had awesome flavors in the food enjoy the Big Boss jibarito  my sister had the Chucky Burrito and my niece had a traditional Jibarito Sandwich  my nephew had pancakes and bacon  and fresh orange juice and my husband enjoyed his American breakfast and the cafe con leche  hit the spot Starbucks has no game compared to this coffee will definitely be back .
